JOB SUMMARY
Livingston is seeking a visionary and experienced technology leader to spearhead our digital transformation journey. As the Vice President of Digital and Data Engineering, you will lead a global team of engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists to architect and deliver cutting-edge digital solutions that drive innovation, efficiency, and growth across our organization.
In this strategic leadership role, you will shape and execute our digital, data, and AI strategy—overseeing the development of web and mobile applications, EDI/API integrations, scalable data platforms, and advanced analytics solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful products that enhance customer experience, unlock new revenue streams, and enable data-driven decision-making.
We’re looking for a dynamic leader with deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering complex digital initiatives—ideally within the logistics or customs brokerage sectors.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global team comprising web/mobile engineers, EDI/API engineers, data architects, data engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, AI specialists, and BI developers.

Develop, communicate, and garner support for Digital Technology, Data & Analytics, AI strategy, associated roadmaps for execution, and ongoing operational performance.

Lead the delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions leveraging web, mobile, and EDI/API integrations to meet customers where they are and make it easy for them to do business with us while increasing customer stickiness.

Oversee the design and implementation of robust and scalable data architecture and pipelines aligned to deliver business outcomes and objectives.

Lead the implementation and management of modern data and analytics platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Deep technical expertise in software development methodologies, microservices architecture, database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), web development frameworks, and technologies, with proficiency in languages like Java, Python, or C++.

Expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
Data Engineering platforms, e.g., Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Apache Kafka, Azure, Snowflake.

Cloud experience with major vendors GCP, AWS, Azure

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) / Language Learning Model (LLM) and AI at scale for platform leverage across the enterprise
