JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer specializing in IT procurement to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships for technology-related goods and services. This role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies, maintaining supplier performance, and supporting organizational IT needs through timely and compliant procurement processes.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead procurement activities for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and related technology solutions
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with IT vendors and service providers
- Manage vendor relationships, including performance evaluations and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to align purchasing decisions with business goals
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations
- Oversee purchase orders, contract administration, and procurement documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting for IT expenditures
- Must have strong analytical skills
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Knowledge of IT categories such as networking, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmen
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to think three steps ahead.
- Ability to work independently with business leaders and without much supervision.
- Ability to take initiative and constructively challenge the status quo to improve processes Experience working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and prioritizing various deliverables Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the business environment.
- Ability to clearly understand the business objectives and link the financial results/data to operational performance drivers.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel; Hyperion experience strongly preferred;
- Analytical and math skills.

CERTIFICATIONS DESCRIPTION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance.
