JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, Duty Audit, the successful candidate in this position will drive the analytics and execution programs of the Duty Audit function. This role oversees the preparation, review and analysis of financial data related to customs duties and taxes, client billings, and government remittances. The role works alongside Operations and Finance partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness and adherence of controls in support of client payment handling services.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business unit leader(s) and/or finance leaders to provide financial guidance and support in interpreting and analyzing financial data which includes duty and tax liabilities, client billings, government remittances and cash flows while ensuring compliance to accounting principles and corporate governance.
- Providing exceptional service to the Company’s finance and operations organizations.
- Propose and influence alternate financial and business solutions which link to the process improvements and changes in technology.
- Prepare routine (daily, weekly and monthly) and ad hoc reporting of key financial information in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and financial reporting requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors. Respond to requests for information and reports.
- Active participation on financing and operations projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to establish policies and procedures.

- Demonstrated success in providing support to business and finance leaders to meet their operational and strategic needs
- Strong business acumen, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to address complex challenges with large datasets.

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
EDUCATION
CERTIFICATIONS DESCRIPTION
One or more accounting designations, such as CPA or CFA required.
