JOB SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence and Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business decisions. This role involves data gathering, analysis, and visualization, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and meet information needs. He/she will leverage his/her expertise in data analytics and business acumen to help optimize business reporting tools. This role involves advanced data handling skills, project management and cross-functional collaboration to improve customer acquisition, retention, and operational efficiency.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis, Performance Reporting & Technical Expertise
- Research, develop, modify, and deploy data-collection processes.
- Develop policies and techniques for gathering and analyzing data.
- Utilize intermediate to advanced SQL skills to collect, extract, organize, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g, Salesforce, in-house databases, industry databases) to provide actionable insights
- Develop, maintain and publish interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for business performance metrics (e.g., ROI, customer lifetime value).

Collaboration and Communication
- Act as a SME for business reporting requirements and liaise with the requisitioner or internal key stakeholder to understand their information needs and translate them into technical requirements for IT’s timely completion and delivery.
- Work closely with IT to enhance data collection processes, integrate new data sources, simplify how the organization leverage data usage, reconcile conflicts or data quality issues and present them within the correct business context

- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (e.g., writing complex queries, joins, data aggregation).
- Advanced Excel and MS Access skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
