JOB SUMMARY

The Junior corporate counsel will support all lines of business to draft and negotiate commercial agreements, review and draft commercial leases and non-disclosure agreements, manage Litigation matters, a typical day would include anything from dealing with contract negotiations both with customers and vendors to working with business units on compliance matters and assisting with litigation matters.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide legal advice to various lines of business in the areas of customs brokerage, transportation and integrated logistics, international freight forwarding, information technology, intellectual property, managed services and employment
  • Conduct legal research regarding regulatory compliance applicable to international trade and custom brokerage.
  • Negotiate, draft or review various corporate commercial documents in support of transactions entered into on behalf of the company
  • Review and draft commercial lease agreements and help facilitated related transactions
  • Conduct due diligence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

4 years of related experience

EDUCATION

Preferred: Juris Doctorate or equivalent in Business or Global Trade/Commerce
