JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and creatively driven Production Designer Intern to support brand initiatives and execution across print and digital channels.
This role is ideal for a design student who thrives in structured environments, enjoys precision work, and can bring brand systems to life through consistent, high-quality execution. You will work closely with marketing teams and external agency partners to support the coordination and delivery of branded assets across multiple touchpoints.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Application & Production Design
- Apply brand guidelines across a wide range of assets, including:
- Sales collateral
- Presentation decks
- Marketing assets
- Corporate materials (invoices, envelopes, templates)
- Ensure pixel-perfect execution of typography, colour, spacing, and layout
- Maintain consistency across all branded outputs
Document & Presentation Reformatting
- Update and recreate materials to align with brand standards, including:
- PowerPoint presentations
- Word documents and PDFs
- Manage pagination, layout flow, and formatting consistency for long-form documents
- Optimize files for digital and print use
Design & Asset Support
- Assist in updating branded marketing and campaign assets
- Edit, resize, and optimize images for digital and print
- Re-colour and refine assets to align with brand standards
- Support development of presentation visuals and internal materials
Asset & File Management
- Organize and maintain a structured digital asset library by leveraging the DAM
- Ensure proper file naming conventions and version control
- Support consistency and accessibility of assets across teams
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Marketing Managers
- Content Writers
- External design agencies
- Support coordination of deliverables across internal teams and agency partners
- Take direction and feedback efficiently, with quick turnaround times
- Manage multiple workstreams while meeting deadlines
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Education
Currently enrolled in:
- Graphic Design
- Visual Communications
- Digital Media Design
- Or a related field
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite:
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft PowerPoint (essential)
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel (tables and charts in PPT)
- Understanding of:
- Layout design and grid systems
- Typography and brand standards
- File formats for print vs. digital

Base salary is one component of our total rewards package which also includes incentive opportunities, benefits, and professional development. Salary ranges are established by location and reflect relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. The good-faith salary range for this position is $22.00/hour CAD. Actual compensation will be determined based on these factors and may vary accordingly.
