JOB SUMMARY

The Expenditure Processing Coordinator reviews, processes and reconciles invoices for payment to vendors and employees. This includes verifying or adding the GL coding including understanding the necessary tax coding and approval matrixes.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Match invoices with appropriate documents. Code invoices and obtains approvals, if applicable and input into accounting system. 
  • Reviews, verifies, and processes manual or automated expense reports including corporate credit card statements. 
  • Handles vendors or employees queries regarding invoice, payment, credit, etc. Escalates complex issues or queries to management. 
  • Investigates and resolves discrepancies with invoices. Escalates issues to management. 
  • Completes monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports related to accounts payable including accruals. 
  • Performs clerical duties such as filing, answering telephones, photocopying, faxing, etc. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

3 years of related experience

EDUCATION

Required: High School/GED or equivalent
