JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Strategy & Transformation and executive leadership to identify and execute value creation initiatives – from driving top-line sales growth to enhancing cost efficiency and operational optimization. The role involves hands-on execution of strategic and operational improvements across various business verticals, with a focus on delivering significant business impact.
Additionally, the Director of Strategic Initiatives serves as a strategic integrator and leader for Livingston’s three business units, ensuring operational alignment, disciplined execution, and financial rigor across the portfolio. Partnering with the business unit SVPs, this role provides the connective tissue between strategy and execution, translating vision into actionable plans, driving progress across multiple projects, and ensuring financial, operational, and people metrics remain on track.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Execution & Initiative Leadership
- Translate strategic priorities into clear action plans, milestones, and outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional execution and enterprise transformation, including AI enablement and process improvement.
- Financial & Performance Management
- Partner with FP&A to deliver performance insights, dashboards, and ROI analysis.
- Identify cost efficiencies and G&A optimization while monitoring initiative performance.
- Project Governance, Structure & Change Leadership
- Establish governance, tracking, and operating rhythms.
- Serve as escalation point for risks and barriers.
- Embed change management to ensure sustainable adoption.
- Organizational Effectiveness & Talent Alignment
- Support workforce planning, org design, and leadership development.
- Drive communication, alignment, and engagement across leadership.
- Executive Communication & Business Partnership
- Prepare executive and board-level materials.
- Serve as a trusted advisor balancing strategy with operational realities.
