JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Vice President, Treasury the successful candidate in this position will be working closely with the Vice President, Treasury to drive the operational excellence program in support of Treasury, Risk, Payables and Financial Products functions.  This role oversees the development of financial teams to set standards, service and execute transactional, analytical and support services for several finance functions.  The role will ensure the service group supports reporting and accounting requirements, timely and accurately execute financing transactions, ensure the set up and administration of finance technology platforms and pursue continuous improvement programs to achieve higher service levels and better support Corporate Finance success.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a responsive and efficient organization with focus on providing exceptional service to the Company’s finance and operations organizations
  • Development and adherence to service level, standards and key controls for finance processes; be highly metrics driven
  • Manage all activities associated with the financial team’s delivery, including developing and implementing policies and procedures for Treasury, Risk, Payables and Financial Products and establish self-service tools and operating standards across all core functions
  • Drive focus on continuous improvement opportunities and identify trends in performance metrics
  • Develop effective communication and training materials to ensure the financial team is providing timely, consistent and accurate services in accordance with finance policies, key controls and best practices
  • Work closely with the portfolio owners in Treasury, Risk, Payables and Financial Products to elevate the teams’ performance and pursuit of excellence
  • Oversee the timing and accurate completion of all monthly journals, preparation of monthly management and external stakeholder reports accurately and within strict deadlines, and maintain service and administrative support for finance technologies and platform used by the financial team and portfolio owners
  • Timely execution of Treasury and Payables transactions, invoice and payment processing against service levels and ad hoc high priority requests from operations partners
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

10 + years of progressive experience
Team management experience

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
