JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager is responsible for managing strategic projects, or multiple related projects. This individual is responsible for all phases of the project lifecycle and for ensuring project outcomes are delivered timely and on budget.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead or manage large scale agile projects, or groups of related projects that are strategic in nature.
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including project budgets.
  • Work directly with key stakeholders to define project requirements.
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve organizational performance.
  • Prototype and iterate on solutions.
  • Manage Livingston personnel assigned to projects through coaching, assigning tasks and monitoring work, and by providing hiring, firing, promotional, and performance appraisal recommendations.
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including third parties and vendors; evaluate vendors for selection and performance; providing vendor hiring, firing, and adjustment recommendations.
  • Ensure project documentation is created and maintained appropriately.
  • Work to standardize processes whenever appropriate.
  • Review and analyze initiatives to identify impact to project(s) and/or Livingston’s client base.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies that could impact the project, or Livingston in general.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies and demonstrated ability to apply appropriate methodologies to projects.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

3 years of related experience

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Preferred: Masters Degree or equivalent
