JOB SUMMARY

Livingston International is offering a unique, hands-on internship experience for an ambitious, self-starter with experience and interest in Information Technology, Business or Supply Chain. The primary responsibility of the intern is to learn about business technology within our Global Trade Management division- processes, ins and outs and process flows. In this role, the intern will be assigned tasks that may be clerical in nature. The ideal candidate takes initiative, feels comfortable in a fast paced work environment, is highly detail-oriented, is a great communicator both written and verbal, is comfortable using technology (especially excel) to assist in the various initiatives

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Heavy data entry
  • Learn key business processes as deemed necessary according to team assignment.
  • Learn to use multiple systems, including proprietary software.
  • Assist with tasks, projects, and/or processes.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional demeanor
  • Fast learner

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

Related experience through internship or coursework
0-2 years of experience

EDUCATION

Required: Associates Degree or post-secondary education
