Location: MI Southfield - US017 


This position will act as a primary operator of high-volume eCommerce shipments ensuring that all entries are processed on time and within Livingston eCommerce service standards to ensure clients' complete satisfaction.  As a member of the eComerce operations team this position will report into the Production Supervisor and will assist with all aspects of admitting eCommerce shipments into the commerce of the United States.


•    Effectively classify a high volume of import shipments daily utilizing the USHTS to determine an accurate classification for each commodity
•    Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment while achieving daily goals of the department
•    Communicate directly with CBP, PGA’s, and other supply chain partners to ensure a timely and compliant release of goods
•    Keep abreast to the ever-changing regulations surrounding the importation of goods into the commerce of the U.S. as well as internal system developments
•    Ensure all entries are processed on time and within LEC service standards to ensure clients’ complete satisfaction
•    Must be detail oriented, organized, and possess time management skills
•    Proactively verifies documentation and or accuracy of information on documents 
•    Assists team members with on-the-job training and technical expertise
•    Participate fully with other team members in the day-to-day operations of the team, including setting priorities, organizing, and scheduling work, coordinating with others, problem-solving and decision-making, participating in meetings and handling special projects
•    Proactively coordinate and implement electronic data relationships to gain efficiencies and improve processing


•    Extensive experience classifying a wide range of commodities such as, but not limited to apparel, electronics, jewelry, cosmetics, and toys
•    Client Service Oriented – interpersonal skills with internal/external clients and coworkers
•    Demonstrated knowledge of company policies and procedures
•    Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office (word & excel) and data entry skills
•    Good analytical skills with problem-solving ability
•    Ability to make decisions and recommendations within authorized limitations
•    Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
•    Ability to prioritize and multitask
•    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while handling large volumes of work and meeting tight deadlines
•    Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)


3 years of related experience
