JOB SUMMARY

Take the first step in learning about international trade, supply chain and logistics with North America's #1 company in customs brokerage! You will be working with major organizations to ensure their products are moved through the global supply chain and meet U.S. regulations. This is an entry level position that includes a paid training program to ensure that team members have the right tools and resources to complete their jobs from day one. A day in the life of this role includes supporting your team with clerical support and department-specific processing. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Assistant is responsible for identifying, categorizing and managing electronic documents in Livingston’s document management system. You will gain knowledge and understanding of International Trade and the customs brokerage entry process and systems.
• Support the Customs Brokerage and Customs Entry Writer team to ensure all required information is updated and available
• Identify, categorize, and index the documents in an electronic document management system
• Perform tracking functions of shipments moving throughout the global supply chain
• Make relevant updates of shipments through data entry in the organization’s primary operating system
• Ensure that all electronic documents are handled in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in completing Customs required electronic filings (ISF)
• Other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

1 year of experience
