JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our warehouse by performing tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate UPS, FedEx and LTL shipments
- Assemble and pack orders
- Email updates to customers, prepare Bill of Lading
- Build consolidations and create manifest for shipments
- Check goods for damages, confirm piece count, review documentation, and sign for goods received
- Weigh freight (UPS and airfreight)
- Load/unload trailers and trucks daily
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Proper loading and trailer weight distribution
- Proper lifting techniques
- Ability to stage freight, plan loads, and load/off-load trailers
- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of basic shipping requirements
- Ability to use a pallet jack and a hand cart
- Certified forklift driver a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
