JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Digital Trade Enablement is accountable for defining and executing the automation and digital enablement strategy that drives brokerage productivity, regulatory compliance, and service excellence across the regions in which Livingston operates. This role leads Brokerage eTeams, Global Trade Management (GTM) Trade Content and Testing Teams, and plays an active role in ensuring automation initiatives, regulatory content, and processes are aligned to evolving trade regulations and business priorities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute the North American automation strategy to improve efficiency, service delivery, and contribution margin
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation (EDI) and digital solutions using data driven business cases
  • Ensure alignment of automation initiatives with enterprise strategy, vision, and values
  • Own end to end GTM enablement for operations, including functional design, testing leadership, and readiness for production release
  • Provide oversight of the GTM Content Team, ensuring timely development, maintenance, and governance of trade content
  • Lead Free Trade Agreement rule generation, validation, and ongoing optimization to support compliance and client value
  • Ensure GTM tools, configurations, and content remain aligned with evolving trade regulations
  • Act as the liaison between Operations, Product, IT, and Regulatory Affairs on GTM related Trade Compliance initiatives
  • Design and implement repeatable client and vendor implementation processes covering planning, design, testing, rollout, and measurement
  • Develop and maintain implementation guidelines for internal and external automation solutions
  • Establish feedback loops with Operations and Clients to continuously improve implementation outcomes and cycle times
  • Serve as the single point of contact for Brokerage Operations, Account Management, and IT for automation and eCommerce capabilities
  • Define, track, and report automation, productivity, and ROI metrics across platforms including Evolve, Locus, SmartBorder, ISF, and Trade Compliance Manager
  • Develop dashboards and communications to increase visibility of automation and GTM initiatives across Brokerage
  • Lead US and Canadian EDI Enablement Teams, with clear goals, coaching, and development plans
  • Lead GTM Trade Content and Testing Team
  • Establish annual targets and drive execution against defined outcomes
  • Promote Livingston’s core values through inclusive, accountable leadership

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

10 + years of progressive experience

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business
Preferred: Masters Degree or equivalent in Business
