JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager, this position is a hyrbid warehouse and administrative role. Responsible for ensuring efficiency in the warehouse performing shipping, receiving and coordination of packages. Additionally, handling administrative functions including data entry and processing client shipments by creating customs entries.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate UPS pick-ups
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments which could include all modes of transportation.
- Create customs entries through review of client records, and data entry of shipment information. Ensuring that all mandatory fields are completed and accurate.
- Complete a monthly inventory log on storage accounts
- Build consolidations and create manifest for shipments
- Load/unload trailers and trucks daily
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proper loading and trailer weight distribution
- Proper lifting techniques
- Ability to stage freight, plan loads, and load/off-load trailers
- Knowledge of basic shipping requirements
- Ability to use a pallet jack and a hand cart a plus, but not needed.
- Certified forklift driver a plus. Livingston will provide certification
